³⁷ But let your communication be yes, yes, and no, no. For whatever is more than that, comes of evil.

³⁸ You have heard how it is said, An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. ³⁹ But I say to you, do not resist wrong. But whosoever gives you a blow on your right cheek, turn to him the other.
